By nature of the two battling sides in this show, Mercutio isn't terribly fond of Tybalt, since he is Romeo's best friend. Romeo is a Montague, and Tybalt is a Capulet... so they aren't apt to get along. The monologue here (and yes, he talks alot... but he has some of the best lines in the show, and is certainly one of the top 3 characters in my opinion), as I've seen it done a few times, is very playful, jeering. It's as if they are taunting him, even though he's not there. And yes, I believe some of the stuff could be compliments. If you really want to know more, I could ask Gina. She is certain to know... she's only directed or acting in the show... oh, a gajillion times.

But yeah, I'd say Prince of Cats for you simply refers to your strange utterings and your fondness for cats. ;-)

Anymore Shakespeare anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

Yes, I'm quite sure that's why she chose it; that is, my fondness for the feline.
