Really. No, really.
I'm happy.
I'm afraid that doesn't come through enough. I always have something to complain about. School's a pain, the world is cold, and I'm alone. I reiterate what I've said a hundred times, things are never as bad as I make them out to be, and I'm never as down as I seem.
I'm happy.
I went to Amazon.com today, but this time I got honest, actual books! "Cryptonomicon," "Snow Crash," "Fight Club," and "Neuromancer." My roomie told me he'd let me borrow his copy of "Ender's Game." I'm thinking I'm going to enjoy these books, and if that's the case, I'm going to look for more of them. And suggestions on good literature are welcome.
I want to write.
Talked with The Ladies Croft again. It's different, now that they're apart. Or maybe not. I don't know; I can't remember. It's a blessing and a curse... But regardless, I actually had a half-decent conversasion with Emily today... Also talked with Amber for the first time in forever... I still have a number of issues with how she's choosing to liver her life, and i'm very afraid she's going to hurt herself in the end...
I've got work in the morning. A part of me wants to sit here and talk to myself a bit longer, but I can't think of anything else interesting to say, so...
As they say elsewhere, "Good Night."

I would ask what it was about "Fight Club" that you didn't like. Because, it occurs to me, this is a case of movie-based-on-book, not book-based-on-movie, and those tend to be better in book-form than movie-form. I really enjoyed the concepts and abstractions that Fight Club brought up, so I'm really interested to see how the book (and infinitely greater medium of thought in certain contexts) deals it out.
-laughs- Yeah, my Mel suggested Ender's Game to me a long while ago, and I was supposed t'read it for class, but then they changed the book list on me. >_<* Now I just have to wait until after Thanksgiving, when my roomie brings up his copy... I should have just added it to my order last night...
And yes, everything in cycles. Everything in cycles.
