Geeking it up.

I've decided that This will be the next addition to Unicron.

And This just looks really kinda cool.

This is amusing.

Wow, they have some really geeky stuff Here.

Hee hee.

I'm far too amused by all this.

Yeah, This could get Bad. Really Bad.

I love thinkgeek. If I wasn't so far away I'd buy tons of stuff there.

I particularly like this (http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/coder/28f4/), this (http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/frustrations/388b/) and most especially this (http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/frustrations/374d/).

-laughs- Yeah, two things are keeping me from ordering a bunch of this stuff -- the $4k I still need to pay for this semester's Tuition, and the up-coming Time of Judgment from White Wolf that I mentioned in a recent post.

But dude, when I do, Unicron's so gonna rock. ^_^

you named your computer? Oh gosh, heaven help us... though they keyboard does look cool. I wish I had money to build a new system. looking at those 3.06s..... wow....

I can't do that, Dave.

[identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com 2003-08-07 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
-laughs- Well, technically, no; I named my processor (Unicron; my computer as such is referred to as her by extension, only) and my three Hard Drives (Motherbrain, Ridley, and Kraid). Hey, people name their cars, I'll name my computer.

And not only is that Kybard cool-looking, it's functional, too!

wait, three hard drives? did you go RAID?

[identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com 2003-08-07 08:52 am (UTC)(link)
-laughs-
No, technically Motherbrain and Ridley are logical drives -- a 20/60 split of an 80gig Hard Drive. Kraid is a full 80gig drive by himself, though.

-laughs-
I'm with you on that. Too cool.
Too bad I don't like beer. :p

yeah that's a shame, they should have a #include

yeah that's a shame, they should have a #include <votka.h> glass.

Ouch

[identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com 2003-08-07 09:00 am (UTC)(link)
I think you missed something there... did you mean "they should have an #include <soda.h> glass" or something?

I didn't miss it.. I think live journal parsed it out! Lemme try again:
#include
[Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<votka.h>') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.]

It's HTML, Louis, it parses anything that looks like a tag.
Try using < instead of <, then it should show up right.

HTML ASCII Reference

This (http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_asciiref.asp) is our friend.
& also gives you &

yeah, I coulda done that, but then you have to wonder, does lj change the & to &an;?

[identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com 2003-08-08 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
-laughs- You mean like reverse parsing? No, I don't think so; it's just a webpage like anything else.
