Do you think of me? I think of you. All the time.

Today's been a pretty good day, though I'm feeling more and more like I want to be at work less and less. O.o i haven't been accomplishing much, but that's mostly because I haven't been trying to. I don't like that. i mean, I have excuses -- technically, no, I can't test my code until David gets the Server up, and Rommel gives us the Database we need. But I COULD be writing more code -- I know Java well enough that I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing, and with my database access functions out of the way -- really the only thing that needs testing -- it's just a matter of a few control sequences to produce the content.

Instead I just have a comment saying "//Add content here."

I have been studying .php alot in the last couple of weeks, though, and found that I really like it. I also think we could do what we need to do with php, and i'd prolly try it if I wasn't -pretty sure- that they want us to use Java (JBoss, our server, is a Java Application Server, anyways). At the same time, I think uploading files using a php-handler would be pretty simple -- I'm not sure how you can do it with jsp's, or even IF you can.

Me and Stacey have gotten back in touch. Not that we were ever 'out of touch,' we just didn't talk. We SPOKE to eachother, but we didn't talk. I think I speak to too many of my friends without really talking. I mean, we have our excuses -- we live in different states, we're too busy, we're never online... But really, that's no reason. A simple email, just saying how we are, really and truly would make all the difference... I'm rather afraid to try getting back in touch with some of my friends... Jean, The Crofts, Stephanie...

Achaea wouldn't let me play this afternoon... that made me mad... I watched Resident Evil. Scared the smurf out of me. All the lights in the house are on, and the doors are all locked.

We both know that, in the end, I will have my someone.
But right now, I don't.

I need a kitten. Someone cute, and warm, and soft, to come home to and love...

I really liked "Resident Evil". That Michelle Rodriguez is a beast. And Eric Mabius? Whoo. He was my favorite character. Too bad he had to get clawed. ::sniffles::

Yeah, Resident Evil was pretty good, though I can't decide if it was more or less... tense than I expected. I actually ended up liking The Red Queen. Almost. Maybe it was the accent...

And as far as the actors - Milla Jovovich! Wow! I think she's the most beautiful actress I've ever seen. I have never been so struck by the beauty of an actress before, ever.

::laughs:: I suppose she is rather lovely. Particularly her eyes. Didn't you see her in "The Fifth Element"?

-smiles- Very much so her eyes. Actually, it just struck me that, in that movie, she reminds me of your Chasing Amy poster, which I was also very enamoured with.
Which (to me at least) brings up this question: Did Julia have blue eyes?

But as for The Fifth Element -- yes and no. I've seen bits of it, but I've never actually watched it the whole way though. Now I have a reason to...

Oh, Andrew, it's fantastic, for more than just Milla. Chris Tucker plays his funniest role ever, and you get to see Gary Oldman with a plastic combover and a Texas accent. It's so ultimately worth it.

-laughs- Yes, I saw pieces of Chris Tucker's character... Wow, is all I will say.
