Goes to Take a Shower

And maybe shave.
At 2:20am.

Because that's what he wants to do.
Lord, but I'd kill for a nice, warm, 2 or 3 hour soak.
Curse dorms, with their communal no-bathtub selves!
Yeah.

I am so with you there. I would kill for a bathtub. Ooh, my kingdom for a nice oatmeal bath...or just a bath with water hot enough to parboil the skin, with a few drops of sweet-smelling oils swirled in it...mmm...

Oh, this college life is full of cruel things...

Oh dear heavens, no. The LAST thing I want HERE is a Bathtub. Eeeck! If the SHOWERS are bad enough for you to contract bubonic plague, Lord only knows what a TUB would bring... And Saints preserve us should -- wonder of wonders -- one of the meatheads around here get drunk and find the difference between a toilet and other facilities negligable...

No, no, I don't want a communal bathtub...I just want one of my own...in a little space I can call my own.

...and to think, people who come and stay at my house pitch a fit to end all when they find out all we had is a BATHTUB! oh my lord, how could we live with no proper SHOWER?!!! ... you'd think it was against nature or something, the way people gawwwaaaannn... >_O sheesh. and at that, the tub it pretty deep. it's just that our hot water heater sucks lots of wax fruit and thus, baths = cold water in a cold tub. not all that fun.

[as a note... i hate conventional showers. i'm too bloody SHORT for the damn things. hello. water goes everywhere BUT where i want it. ie: i want to wash my hair. only, the water goes on my face and shoves all the shampoo in my eyes. grrr.]

You're cute, you know that?

As a note, I actually enjoy showers. But then, I don't think I've had a proper bath since before I was 12. I imagine it would be quite soothing, though, especially if it were steaming. The problem is, I'm usually too tall for the damnable things. Not that I'm really all that tall (I couldn't possibly be over 6'), but it seems to me only the uniquely-tall spouts manage to get my HEAD instead of my CHEST. On many an occasion I've had to hunch and bend just to properly wash my hair. S'why I want to have a house built to my specifications, one of these days.

Oh, yes - this dilemma I quite understand, except mine usually stems not from washing my hair in the tub as from just fitting in the tub without having to cramp my legs up a bit. That's why, if ever I get my own house, I'm going to make sure an EXTRA-LARGE bathtub is installed. Like, one of those Japanese-style, big, deep baths...mmm...

Well, I was myself refering to being too tall for shower heads... It's been too long for me to remember if I even FIT in a tub or not, and it just occured to me that I haven't the faintest idea how one would wash their hair in the tub. O.o

The few times I've tried, it's been hell...'course, the long hair makes it worse.
