We play EVE. It's bloody fantastic. It has the steepest learning curve of any game I've seen to date, and unless you really have a passion for figuring things out on your own by internet research, you're better off immediately finding a group of semi-experienced people to play with.

It's a wonderful game, but somehow I don't think you'd like it at all.
