I hate how, every time I think I'm two steps from being done, my advisors say, "oh, you need to do X." Today, after submitting my full thesis draft (well, minus a couple appendices), my advisor says, "oh, you need to submit your code for content management; see Jean for how to do this."

My acknowledgments right now thank my advisors for their "guidance and input." I have half a mind to simply put the word "clear" in front of that phrase; I don't know that anyone would catch the subtle tone of sarcasm.

-laughs- It's never a good time to catch me on the phone. If I'm not in the lab then my phone is mysteriously low on battery power. If you *do* leave a message, though, I'm usually good at getting back.
