To my great disappointment, but not my great surprise, "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" sucked.
I'm trying to think of one thing they did right, and the closest I can come is "cast Sean Connery."

I wish you had told me you were thinking of watching it... I would have told you not to waste your time. It was awful. I want those hours of my life back.

Oh, I knew it was bad (hence the lack of surprise), just not *how* bad. It was something I needed to do. Like the big, red, "do not push" button.

On that note, have any movies I must needs see?

Go see 300 in the Theatres! Totally worth the money for the Big Screen. You liked Sin City... it's the same idea, taking a graphic novel by Frank Miller and making it a movie. But this is set in Sparta and AMAZING. :-)

Also, you would really like Stranger than Fiction. You should see that too. It was an excellent film. REALLY good. Surprisingly good.

Oh, I dunno, I didn't hate it that badly. Of course, I saw it a long time ago, back when it was in theatres...maybe I'd find it more wretched now.

On second thought, when I go back and look at the review I wrote of the movie after I saw it, maybe I did hate it that badly...
