Thinking about it, you've played a very large role in my ever being exposed to the subculture: the anime club, the leather pants, club Visa Versa, Bruderschaft, et cetera. It's really not surprising, as we've been good friends for over a decade now, but it is rather impressive thinking about it.

Haven is a cool name. I like Lyric, too, and Eden (though it's more of a 'normal' name in my mind) -- I kinda wish Lyric was a girl, though, not a guy. :p
And yeah, what's up with making friends with guys? Ben, Steve, Marcin, Rob, Brent, Haven, Bruce, Will, Pablo, John -- I haven't had this many guy friends since grade school, and probably not even then. There's definitely something to be said about sharing common interests (in these cases, MtG and Computers, and now goth culture).
