Ah, yes. Actually, Virginia Beach is arguably the closest I get to 'coming home.' My parents actually live in Maryland, but they had that house build after I'd moved out -- practically just before I graduated college. Here in Virginia Beach is where I 'grew up,' my family's military but were were here for nearly 6 years, from 6th grade through 11th. Those were formative years. Additionally, a lot of my friends from back then seem to still be around here (even if some, like Leslie, have been to Japan and back in the meantime). And my sister lived 1 hour north, and even my parents are only 3 hours' drive away.

When all's said and done, I'll probably be living in Maryland when I graduate.
