Wizards say the darndest things

But it’s not a hopeless fight. (Well, okay: for the green mage facing down a 5/4 black flier, it’s a hopeless fight. For everyone else, there’s a ray of sunshine, since they get a few turns to recover while that green mage gets his head kicked in.)

Oddly enough, I just realized that this (or something dreadfully similar) happened in a game between me and Tina after The Battle of the Valley's Forge. I was playing Mono-Black, and I think she was playing Green/Blue. I played a Putrid Imp (technically a 1/1 flier) and then dropped a couple Strengths of Insanity on him (+4/+2 and Pro-White), ao I was hitting her with a 5/3 flier. ^^ Maybe I'll tell that story sometime...

ogres? I got an ogre slaying knife its got +9 against ogres...
