Let the Good Times Roll

In celebration of Love Day, and the fact that my roomie is out of town for a week, and the fact that I might be getting an internship in Norfolk, which further may be an aid to my thesis project and, lastly, that I've fixed my Desktop's DVD Player -- I have decided to order pizza and watch a movie. I thought about watching Chasing Amy, Legend, <A Usual Wonder>, or Garden State, all which would have been great choices. I'd like to watch Love Actually, When Harry Met Sally, or Saved!, but I don't have any of those. I finally settled on Ladyhawke, a movie I haven't watched in a very long time. So now I'm going to curl up in my desk chair with a pizza and coke and enjoy myself.

Tonight has become very good, indeed.

Speaking of Valentine's Day presents, I got the book, thank you so much! And I also got a good laugh out of it by mistaking it for my mom's V-Day present to me -- WTF!? -- until I sat down and read the shipping receipt. :)

Rik and I are planning on paying it forward by sending a ton of our most bizarre young adult novels to our friends with kids. }:)

Actually, no, in a very odd way, I think I could see how that might be a Valentine's gift... a very odd Valentine's gift, granted, but... Wow.
:p

Let me know how you like it when you get around to it.

A pat of me is curious exactly what bizarre young adult novels you might have to send out...

Probably lots of Daniel Pinkwater and William Sleator. :)
