Short end of the stick.

Just had a short chat with an old friend. It went something like this:

Him: Hey, long time no see.
Her: Yeah.
Him: How're you?
Her: OK. Had surgery.
Him: Ouch, hope it's OK.
Her: It's alright.
Him: So, how's school et al?
Her: Hey, I've gotta go. I'll see you later.
Him: OK. See ya.

I think it'd be easier if I just stopped caring so much about people who don't care about me.

*hug*

It may not be personal...she may have had something on her mind, or really had somewhere important to be.

Since when are there people who don't care about you?

Hmmm

I WOULD care, but I MET A BOY ON THE SUBWAY! (Did I mention he's got a British accent?)

ok, but seriously

Listen, people call me at the most inconvenient times imaginable, like after five PM on Friday (when everyone else is off work), for instance, so I can understand where your friend was coming from. My being brusque when people call me at a bad time has nothing to do with how much I care about them, and I try my damndest to call people back. Also, she might be a forgetful spaz like me (just ask poor, neglected Louis!).
