Failure

There's no failure as complete as quitting.
I just wish there was something to care about...

Quitting is the most complete failure there is...
...(possibly) only within the realm of accomplishing a thing set out to do...

Define "failure"?! It sounds negative, and I think that is what I am referring to. Quitting isn't always negative...though it can be. When quitting isn't a negative thing, I don't think it can be failure...like quitting smoking for example.

But all of this is most likely totally besides the subject! You all right?

Ha ha. Quitting is a negative thing, though I would argue that "quitting smoking" isn't quitting in the propper sense. In that case, that which is striven for is not smoking, but breaking the addiction. To quit 'quitting', in this case, that is to continue the addiction, is the true quitting, and the true failure.

I'm a little bit down. My life is and always has been cyclic. I'm just discouraged in the area of romance, and unmotivated in the area of education, and just generally down. I'm not excited about anything right now. No passion. Nothing to care about. I donno, I'm repeating myself.

Naw, it's cool. It's been quiet around here in general. Good to hear from you, though.
