Wow, yeah, that was a lot of shit... JTT? What the hell? What ever happened to that punk, anyways? Seems he fell off the face of the planet or something. Yeah, most of that I would have preferred to stay forgotten -- having a poor memory is sometimes a good thing.

Most of that stiuff isn't old enough to be considered even our adolecense. I remember some of those shows being to young for us when they came out.

You never read Roald Dahl??!?!?!?!?!? WTF?
Wayside Stories is also a good you missed.

Ditto, there. I was surprised to see Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. That was a good book, definitely from my childhood, though.

A bunch of them where made into movies, some good some bad, quite a few movies after he died. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is probably the most memorable, and the best of the movies (though The Witches comes in close, being british and kinda twisted). He actually wrote the screenplay for Willy Wonka, which I think excuses all the differences from the book.
