She needs to figure things out herself. You have told her how you feel (and though I see where her confusion about the affection and the difference in love lies, she's still rather immature about it), and there is nothing more you can do. I agree that you should just leave her alone. If she needs more from you, she'll ask for it. But it seems like she enjoys getting the attention she does by being slightly overdramatic. She did sound alot like you in the first part of that first post. So, obviously, you know what she's going through. But the two of you are very different in how you deal with it. I think.
I've just totally lost my train of thought. I'll try and figure it out and talk to you later. End all be all is that I think you should just tell her that you'd like to still be friends, but that you're going to back off until you've both put some space between this entire ordeal.
