Another Update
Let me see...I got up this morning at 11:00. This, however, was a good thing, because my only class today was at 1:00. Tuesdays are good. I think I started reading my mail at that 'early' hour, but never got around to replying to any of it. I think I also watched another hour of Trigun, putting me up to the Five Hour mark, Episode 10.
At about 12:30 I went to lunch, and I think I ate alone. it wasn't so bad, but it was the first time in a while I wasn't sitting with SOMEONE. After lunch I meandered over to Pangborn for my CompSci class, and got all my work for CAE Tools (read: AutoCAD) done. We got our Lab 1 reports back (perfect score, thank you very much ^_^) and had another quiz. I was done the quiz first (again), and my teacher was amazed by my speed. I love that class. ^_^ I spent a while after class talking with a group of people from my CompSci class gripe about this teacher or that class, and why we (as CompSci Majors) shouldn't need all these stupid Engineering courses. The girl there later offered to give me her CAE projects, since it was stupid we had to be taking it anyways. I think I'm making more friends among my peers.
I was then late up to work by about 10min, but both my bosses were in a meeting, so no one knew. It was a very uneventful day - we got the second Lap Top in, but I spent most of my time sitting at the desk ironing out the flaws in my Lab 2 project (all on paper, of course - the office computer's still down). Maybe I'm just some kinda weirdo, but seeing all that wonderful code, line after line - it's like a work of art. ^_^* Maybe I've found my calling, ne?
After work I crawled back to my room and read my e-mail again, when all of a sudden, Lauren says they're going to eat. At flipping 5:30! I'm going to be up till 2, that's over 8 hours - by the time I get to bed, I'll be starving! But I go anyways, and spend a long while afterwards talking with Jack. He's a cool guy Sadly, he won't be with us next year cause he'll be heading off to the Seminary in Boston - or was it Baltimore? Either way, it's not here. He's a cool guy - he'll make a good priest (even if he does like his Drink now and again...).
Got back to my room yet AGAIN, and finally got through my mail. One friend is sorry she hasn't been able to talk to me in a while, another friend doesn't hate me even though we're on opposite sides of the fence, and a third friend is getting married. WHAT!? Where'd that come from? I sure wish people would TELL me these sorta things, y'know?
Actually got in a discussion with a friend today, when they pointed out that asking a gay girl to like guys was like someone asking ME to like guys (*cough* Austin *cough*). My response - duh! That's not my point and never was. I rather find it flattering that Austin's taken by me (poor bastard - I'm such a tease), and I can relate more readily to why a girl might be attracted to another girl. I mean, don't get me wrong, I appreciate that quite a number of girls like guys (I'd rather be at a disadvantage otherwise) but that doesn't mean I get them. I have no problem with who you care for, just what you DO, and I have the same standards for everyone on that point, but we won't go there. ^_^
And I guess that's really that, for now. I'll see all you people around later. ^_^
