Another Long Update...

Well, let's see if I have anything to say...
Yesterday simultaneously sucked and was pretty cool.
I got up in the morning only to find that someone had decided to take my glasses from the sink (where I'd left them) and not tell me. This is very not cool on several different levels, for as it is definately not cool to mess with someone's stuff, it's even more not cool to mess with someone's stuff which they need in order to function, even aside from the fact that glasses do not come cheaply. I have my suspicions of who did the snatching, and though I haven't confronted him directly, he made a grand show of denying that it was he. Which, of course, is why I suspect him most strongly.
That, and because it's a very juvenile prank, and the person in question has shown already that he can be quite juvenile.

Then, I went to get my parking pass -- $400 for that thing, for one semester!  O.o  That hurts. That hurts alot. On top of that, though, I went to get my ID programmed so I could get into the garage, and what should have been click-click-done took over half an hour. And THEN, after work and classes, I was going back to my room just to lay down and relax for a few, and my ID wouldn't open the door! Apparently, in setting me up for the garage, the guy had taken off my access to my dorm, and so I had to go all the way back across campus to get it fixed!

I started work at CPIT yesterday, too. I'll be working there six hours a week, about, betwen classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Annie, my boss, is a really pretty irish-looking girl, with red hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. She's really nice, too. Got my assignment, which is less mindless than it was last time. I actually have to think about what I'm doing now, 'cause it's not all cut-and-paste stuff. So that's cool. And it's still relaxed enough that I don't feel I need to worry too much about it.

Speaking of worrying, yesterday was the last day to add/drop classes, and I decided to switch my Calc3 class for an Astronomy class. As I was taking Calc3 for my science elective, this works out fine. Better than fine, actually. This means that I now have a lunch-hour at noon, all my classes are 3-credits, I know it'll count as a science elective (I never got a definite from my advisor on that for Calc3), I only have one class on Thursedays, and I don't have to worry about Trig anymore! On the down side, I now have two classes back to back on Mon/Wed/Fri (horrible, I know, but I had had about an hour between all my classes by my old schedual), I get out an hour later on Fridays (so Leslie and Louis, we'll be leaving here after 2:00 instead of after 1:00), and I need to buy another book which will cost about another $100 (I didn't need to buy a book for Calc3). But, all in all, I think the good out-weighs the bad.

And on that note, I think I'm reconsidering reconsidering CUA. For the double-negatively impaired, that means I don't think I'll be transferring out. Several things have contributed to this. Firstly, I'm getting along quite well with my roomies -- being a Jack of All Geeks, if you will, there's something I can connect on with each of them. Mike's the Theatre Geek, Curtis is the Computer Geek, Chris is the Cool Geek (no, really, they exist, you just have to know where to look), and Zack is the Abscent Geek (he's never there and when he is, he's playing GTA3; I laugh). Additionally, it'd be nice to be able to get down and visit Becky C in Virginia, and maybe get to a VTech game and see Emily. Plus I've started making friends with Suzannah, from Christendom, who'd be nice to keep in touch with. And I've been hanging out with the Ryan girls more. AND, I went to a meeting of Students for Life, and it made me feel just a bit better as far as the Catholic Identity of the school... Of course, Becky A thought I might be considering transferring because the school was TOO Catholic... Just goes to show how well (or poorly, as the case may be) some people seem to know me. Though, I've had similar occurences here Online, too, so... -shrugs-

Plus, y'know, if I moved out, I'd need to get my own PS2, and I wouldn't be able to work here at NRL anymore (because I wouldn't be in the area).

As a final note, Mike had an electronic body-analyzer-thingie (that's a technical term) that we were trying out yesterday... According to it, I have about 14% body fat. Seeing as the average for a 20-year old guy is around 25%, that makes me feel a little bit better about me. Chris had about 15%, and Curtis was 30%. Mike himself was insanely low, like 5%; He's toned.

And that, I suppose, is that.
