Kazaa, oddly, have been really nice to me today. I've managed to get alot of Savatage, Queensryche, and Apoptygma Berzerk (three of my favorite bands) and I've also managed to get some Blackmore's Night and Evanescence, two bands with were recently recommended to me. Hopefully i'll get around to listening to all these new songs in the next week or two. -facevault-

Sadly, I could neither fing Flywheel or Flywheel.
Gene, where was it that you found them at?

Evanescence I kinda like...kinda. They seem a little too "life is a dark pit of darkness" for me at times, but musically, I think they're aces.

they're pretty good for dark moods, though. ::nods:: it's good to have a mix of dark music, sad music, fluffy music [hehe... fluffy like clouds, some of the stuff], etc.

one of my really quiet friends recommended them to me not too long ago and when i downloaded the song [bring me to life] i think my jaw dropped a little TOO far through the floor. i'd never thought she was the type to listen to that sort of music & enjoy it.

[where as i'm pretty secure in the knowledge that most people get my music tastes & how it's bloody everywhere. i've actually got eminem & country music on the same CD in one instance. scary, ne?]

I actually prefer "Going Under" to "Bring Me to Life", but they're both good songs. And, as I said, I think they're awesome musically. The woman singer's got such a voice on her!

::laughs:: Yeah, I'm very catholic in my musical tastes, too. I think it's best to be that way, though, don't you? By being open, we don't miss out on any good stuff!
