Letter from the Editor

Meh.

Hello peoples out there. Been feeling kinda... What would a good word be? 'Not Social,' maybe. I suppose that tends to happen when there's physically no one around, at all. I don't think I've actually spoken for a day, maybe 36hrs.

Even more than that, I haven't even felt like talking on AIM, either. I mean, when conversations come, I enjoy them muchly, but I haven't felt up to initiating any myself, which is non-typical. The only 'real' socialization I've had since sushi-night has been a couple conversations with Alyce and Vecky (and I thank you, Ladies).

I haven't even felt like posting in here. Where as I would normally have no fewwer than two posts a day, I've dropped to below one. On the plus side, I got motivated the other day and sent out a few e-mails to some peoples -- sadly no responses (save one from Ms Claire). -sigh-
Not that my sleep schedual is helping any. I have trouble finding any reason to sleep other than 'oh, the sun's comming up now' recently, so I've been sleeping from 6am to noon, or 2pm depending.

Ah well. I just gotta make sure I get things back on track before Classes start on Monday.
Maybe I'll break myself outta this pseudo-funk.

Addendum: Oh, there was one thing of notable good. Apparently Mere found her way to my Antholigies page (where I've been collecting links to all the snippets I've done) and she went and read them all.  ^_^  If I remember correctly, she said she really liked Snowfall, The Study, and Colusseum. She said she didn't 'get' On The Sea, but didn't say what she meant.
^_^  It was cool, and stuff.

I like Muse a lot - they only have a very few truly great songs, though..."Muscle Museum" of course being the best of the best.

What songs did you download? Maybe I can reccomend some of their really good ones.

Huh, seems I haven't DLed as much as I though. So far, I have "Muscle Museum," "Space Dementia," "Dark Shines," "New Born," and "Bliss." I know I'm a fan of "Bliss" and "New Born," but aside from "Muscle Museum," none of them jump right out at me (that is, aside from the one, I don't *quite* remember how the others sound). I LOVE Muscle Museum. Simply adore it.

Yeah, that's how I am about "Muscle Museum", too. There's just something about it... Have you found the Soulwax Mix yet? Pretty good harder remix of an already fantastic song.

I really like "Feeling Good", just 'cause the last verse makes me want to get up and shout. "New Born" is great for its energy, and "Darkshines" (one word, dear, not two) is really good too, although I don't like it as much as some. Umm...other than that, "Citizen Erased", "Megalomania", "Dead Star", "Shine", "Escape", "Sunburn", "Falling Down"...oh! And the songs that got me into Muse in the first place: "Unintended" (Beautiful. Simply beautiful. The video makes me want to cry.) and "Spiral Static".

And there are prolly lots more...I just can't think of any right off the bat when I don't have my Winamp sitting right in front of me.

^_^  Muchly appreciated. Once I dust off the ol'Kazaa and get the junker running again, I'll see about DLing more Muse. You (or anyone, for that matter) haven't found a suitable replacement, have you? If anything eats up resources, it's Kazaa, and it's not like my lil'Unicron has many resources t'spare, poor girl.

Nah, unfortunately, Kazaa's all I've got, too. Damn shame. I'd like something that worked better and had more!
