Suggested Area for Review - Word Choice

Just got back from my Philosophy Exam. ^_^ I think I totally rocked it, too! w00+!
That's 3 of my 5 exams down, and I eel good about them all. Just have Assembly later today and Discrete Tomorrow.
Not only that, but I got my paper back from Philosophy - and I got an A! I didn't think you COULD get an A in that class!

<td>This is an excellent paper! You have provided a thoutful and well-written consideration of this topic. I especially like your treatment of Aquinas's views on the naturalness of society. Excellent work!</td>

w00+, yeah! Score. ^_^
Could it be? Could Andrew FINALLY be getting a 4.0?
It's possible. I can't believe it.
Wheee, I love my life!

No, no, pun quite intended. ^_^

You should get some happy music. Some of it is quite good, y'know...even if it sometimes risks being "cutesy".

See, that's the problem, 'cutesy' doesn't do it for me, and most 'happy' songs seem to go there, y'know?

Does 'I will Survive' by Cake count as Happy?
"I should have changed my fucking lock, I should have made you leave your key, if I had known for just one minute you'd be back to bother me..."

::laughs:: Yes, indeed, I think it does. I think a good deal of Cake does. I myself quite like "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps".

I think what should define a "happy" song is a song that makes you feel really good.

Of course, to qualify that, I suppose there are some "unhappy" songs or songs that could go either way that can make you feel really good or really crappy, depending. "Faded" by The Whigs is one of those for me.

LOL See, I would disagree - I would say that almost all of Cake, Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran falls under 'Dark.' Now then, as I have a black-streak a mile wide, that type of music does make me happy ('Kick Some Ass' would be a happy song by that definition) but I would say a Happy song is onme which sings of being happy. Hence "Happy Boys and Girls."
