Apparently, I'm Lazy

My sister was saying I'm slacking off with my Live Journal cause I haven't made several posts today. ^_^;; Right, then.

I got up this morning, and really didn't want to be awake. After getting ready and all, though, I was OK with it - checked my mail and Live Journal (which were unchanged from the night before) and then headed off to Discrete. Nothing big happened there, and I headed off to Lunch at South, meeting up with Katie, Meg, and Brookie on the way. Got some Pizza that kinda tasted like warm cardboard, and we all sat down with Trevor Jordan and SomeGuy at a table that was one seat smaller than we needed. That never stopped us before. Jordan was talking about a bunch of stuff, from cars to what she's doing next year, and it turns out she's a semester ahead of us and going to a really exclusive StudyAbroad program next year - funny, Jordan's a nice girl, and pretty, but not the one I would've picked to be the Genius. ^_^ Can't judge a book by it's cover, regardless of piercings.

Brookie was a bit tired at lunch, and laid her head on my shoulder. ^_^ I like Brookie, she makes me happy. After we'd all done our lunch-thing, I came back to my room, putz around for an hour or so, then took a three-hour nap. ^__^ Yeah, that was nice. Went to Assembly, only to find I'd gotten a C on the Test. *wince* Really simple stuff I missed, too. Spent most of the class programming, so that was cool. We're getting up to the point where we're going to be making more complex programs - it's cool. Assembly as compared to Java is like Manual compared to Automatic - yeah, it's a bit trickier, but it's more fun, more hands on, and you can really crank it if you try. ^__^ One day, I'll have t'learn Stick.

Got back from Assembly, and found my good Friend Olivia online. I chatted with her for a while, and she said she's much enjoying the CDs I burned her last year. Says her Roomie (Cait) also thinks I have good taste in music, and the both of them asked if I could burn them another CD - which I'm more than happy to do, anyways. I like sharing my music. And it'll also give me an excuse to get down there and see these girls that even Gene claims are pretty (for those who don't know, Gene has never said anything definite in his LIFE - until this). Then Jack came in, t'see what we were up to in here, and we chatted some, and I went and made popcorn - which means going into the Lounge for the Microwave. So, I go in there, and there's a bunch of people and I realize that tonight's the Prayer Group. And they have BROWNIES! So I asked if I could have one, and my friend Amanda said only if I stick around. I said I hadda get the Popcorn back to my room, but I'd be back in.

So I take the popcorn to my room, and me and Jack are talking, and he's telling me about this girl he met who he thinks I'd like. Apparently this really nice, pretty, freshman girl who he described as having an "unconventional" body type - by which he simply meant that she wasn't a stick.
^_^ I should hope everyone here understands that I don't go for 'conventional' body types. I take pride in that, I donno. Anyways, he said she might be at the Prayer Group thingy (after first devising a plan that I might meet said girl, and trying unsuccessfully to get me to go for donuts with him) and said if I saw a girl with black hair and glasses named Dannielle, that was her. Might I just say - yes she was there, and yes she was quite pretty. ^___^ I'd like to meet this girl.

Anyways, I got back online just in time to see Olivia leave. *sniff* She said she might be on later, but it's 11:45, and I believe they have a Midnight curfew. Started checking more of the MP3s I've been downloading (oh how kind Kazaa has been) and came aupon a song, "I am the One," which claimed to be by Lacuna Coil, but I doubted it. So, I IMed my friend, Rose, who loves the band, and asked her if she knew. She wasn't sure she'd ever heard of it, but there's a new CD that just came out, so she sent me to the Lacuna Coil Website, and we started chatting about them - an Italian band who has a darker tone, but a nice clear sound.

Now then, I've never been one for Idol-worship, but let me tell you - Cristina Scabbia, singer for Lacuna Coil, is quite awsome. First off, she lists Depeche Mode and Linkin Park as two of her favorite bands. She also lists Escaflowne, Battle Angel Alita, Akira, and Ghost in the Shell under Favorite Cartoons (OK, yeah, cartoons is a no-no, but it's all anime and stuff I really like, too!). AND she lists Final Fantasy (VII, IX, and X) and Resident Evil as her favorite Video Games. ^____^ Too bad she's 11 years older than me - I don't go much for older girls. But she is quite pretty - in an almost Arwen-esque way, I think.

OK, enough of that. Uhm, anything else....? Oh, yes! I spoke with Beth, Jenny's best friend, last night. It was grand - she's such a cool girl, I kinda miss seeing her. I can't quite remember what all we spoke about, but it was grand.
And that, ladies and Gentlefolk, is my post for the day. Hope you Enjoyed it.

Idle-Worship: Dude, these Lacuna Coil guys are AWSOME! Ha! A few other intrests other members listed: Clockwork Orange (movie), Mononokle Hime, Pulp Fiction (movie), Wicked City, Paradice Lost (band), The Police, At The Gates (band), System of a Down, Herbert's Dune, Stoker's Dracula, Roleplaying, and Martial Arts. I Like these people! Whee!

Oh Yeah: Rachel called me up as I was getting dinner just to vent - tonight was the first rehearsal, and some dip didn't think to get a ride there, so RACHEL (being the only one who COULD leave) had to go pick his ass up. ^_^ I envy that poor boy not. It was nice hearing from her in anycase - though, it never ceaces to amaze me how such a pretty voice could carry such ugly words...

I'm Not An Artichoke: Just heard an Applebees' commercial featuring the song "Ring of Fire."
Just thought I'd let you all know that.

Quote of The Day: "I'm not as innocent as I pretend, but I'd like to be."

::snickers:: "This is a song about what you ate for dinner."

::ears perk up:: Italian?? I like Italians! I might have to go check out this Lacuna Coil. Any reccomendations for songs?

And, dude - you don't like "Wicked City". C'mon, it's trash.

hahaha! You make me laugh!

OOOHHH! You know what happened the NEXT day?! Some OTHER dipshit did the same freaking thing! Luckily, someone else got the annoying ass job of going to get him. My God... you would think people would be able to think for themselves sometimes... but NOOOOOO.... Actors just don't think that's in their job descriptions.... stupid actors... ::grumble grumble::

Opening tonight... AGHHH!!! :-)
